“Get a LinkedIn account” is probably one of the most common pieces of career advice given to job-seekers. The point of that is to grow and keep track of your network and provide an easily accessible online location where you can highlight your skills and experience. However, the internet may also document other accomplishments that you do not wish to showcase to prospective employers. This raises a number of questions: Firstly, how do you go about marketing yourself with the greatest impact using social media and other online fora? Secondly, what information should you think of managing and finally how can you manage it? These are not easy questions, so MentorUP is hosting a panel of experienced professionals that will share their answers to them.
