The two main topics of discussion will be:

  • The “Gap” – important skills, company processes, and field exposure that are not taught in school but needed for New Graduates in their job role. It will also be about the gap for graduating students with advanced degrees (PhD, MASc) seeking to leave academia yet struggling to find work.
  • Career Change – how to make successful transitions between jobs, how to decide if it is worth to take the risk, how to handle the situation if you are a highly educated person (e.g. PhD degree).
