Speaker bios

University of Calgary
Wendy Hutchins, PhD
Wendy Hutchins, MLT, BSc, DipHons, PhD, SciComm   The alphabet soup should say it.  Wendy is a wanderer.  Even while taking a whole bunch of advanced microbiology courses, she found it important to take flower arranging and quilting – how many of you have transcripts like that?   Sometimes you just have to go on a tangent or maybe you still don’t know what you want to be when you grow up.  Wendy likes to rant about what education really gives you (especially your PhD) and why we are all enrolled in the school of lifelong learning.

University of Calgary
Guido van Marle, MSc, PhD
