If you believe you have, then you are cordially invited to our event on May 18th in which some successful Albertan entrepreneurs will talk and share about their own companies, experiences, and achievements, even at times of economic hardship.

Speakers:

Shawn Baldwin is an HR and Recruitment leader with over 20 years of experience leading recruitment teams and HR organizations. Shawn has spent many years leading Recruitment at a local and national level with organizations such as TELUS, Tervita and Shaw Communications. Currently he is the President of Office Jobs, a nearly 30 year old employment agency located here in Calgary. He is also in charge of a new hiring initiative in Calgary called Hire10, which is putting together a group of organizations that are committed to hiring 10 new employees in the coming months.

David Lloyd has worked in projects as diverse as DNA assembly, bio-fuels, environmental remediation, and biosensors. He has managed complex innovation programs for various groups such as MindFuel, where he developed a high school science based innovation program that was adopted across Alberta. He has been nominated as a Top 40 Under 40 by Avenue Magazine and servers as a board member for the Alberta Women’s Science Network.
