Gail Powley, P.Eng has over 30 years of experience in roles that have included: Vice-President of Corporate Development at Willowglen Systems; Human Resources Manager; Marketing Manager; Chemical Engineer (Process Control); President of CHOA (Canadian Heavy Oil Association). She has worked in the Industrial Automation, Transportation, Oil and Gas, Pipelines, and Power Industries. She has specialized in the areas of Human Factors, Alarm management, and situation monitoring. In addition, Gail has been an avid contributor to initiatives that build a stronger tomorrow through a more diverse workforce. Gail is on University Advisory Boards, AWSN (Alberta Women’s Science Network), recognized as Mentor of the Millennium, APEGA Foundation director, and co-founder of MentorUP and of BESTT (Bridge for Engineering Science and Technology Talent).
